Local Recreation

In the community

There are many recreation activities available right within the community. It is a great feeling to know you don’t have to leave the community to have multiple ways to enjoy a beautiful day or get out and blow off some steam.

Getting Moving

Those would like to get out and get moving can walk, run, or bike on the 20+ miles of paved walkways and sidewalks through out the community. The two largest lakes in Hampton Cove have paved walkways encircling the entire lake. Also, the little cove road greenway runs the length of Hampton Cove’s borders with Eastern Bypass and connects to the neighborhoods at many points along the way. As a bonus, the community also connects with the Big Cove Creek and Flint River Greenways, providing extensive milage of safe paths.

Community Lakes

Hampton Cove Owners Association members have access to the community lakes for fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. There are many lakes and ponds in the community to choose from to find the perfect spot where the fish are biting or to put your paddles in the water. If still water isn’t your thing, the Flint River has multiple access points within 5 minutes from Hampton Cove.

The lakes throughout Hampton Cove offer many great scenes for relaxation. Benches are place in community areas with great views to watch the sun rise or teaching kids to catch a fish. These spaces are well maintained, one current example is the seawalls that have recently been constructed around the largest lake.

The Hampton House

The Hampton House has so much to offer its members in terms of recreation. Most people think of it as a pool membership, but the Hampton House includes a full gym with great hours, 6 clay tennis courts with the services of a on site tennis pro, a nice covered playground, sand volleyball court, and many great events throughout the year.
